Saturday, December 4 brought our first snow fall as residents of Butternut Hill.

We awoke to find about 4 inches blanketing the entire 5 acres, and the dogs enjoyed a fun romp in the fresh snow.
Admittedly, we are not entirely prepared to live on the property with snow, and we haven't yet purchased a tractor to clear the steep driveway. 
Chad put his Buffalo experience to work and shoveled the steepest part and the circle around the house, and since the NYT was even at the bottom of the drive, we decided to celebrate with a nice pancake breakfast (with local maple syrup, of course!).
